About Dynamic Decks in Spokane

Dynamic Decks builds decks and related outdoor spaces for homeowners in the Spokane area. We work on new decks and full replacements, and we can plan a deck cover, pergola, or other outdoor feature as part of the same conversation. You do not need to have every detail settled before you talk with us.

Our Story

Daniel Schupp grew up watching his dad build. The interest stayed with him, and he now leads our Spokane team as general manager. He likes helping homeowners turn an idea for their yard into a place they can actually use. We start by asking what you want to do outside, not by putting a catalog of deck boards in front of you.

Daniel also cares about the people doing the work. He wants a crew that is glad to work together and clients who feel good about the experience, not just the finished deck. That is the standard he has set for the team to carry into each project.

What We Build

If an old deck no longer works for you, we can build a full replacement. If you are starting from scratch, we can plan a new deck around how you want to use the yard. Railings, stairs, and access belong in that conversation. So does shade: when a cover or pergola is part of the plan, it makes sense to consider it while we work out the deck layout. Most of our deck covers are custom wood structures built on site.

We also build patios and outdoor kitchens. What belongs in your plan depends on your property and what you want to do there. A place for a dining table is a different conversation from a raised deck with stairs to the yard; we want the proposed work to reflect that difference.

The Materials and Brands We Work With

We work with wood, composite, and PVC decking. Cedar and Ipe are wood options in our project range, while Trex and TimberTech are among the decking brands we discuss. The choice is not just a logo. We can compare how the surfaces look, what care they call for, and which actual product would be specified for your project.

The structure beneath the boards matters, too. We can discuss wood, steel, or aluminum framing options when they fit the design. Our manufacturers page goes into more detail, but the useful starting point is how you want the deck to look and work at your house.

Planning for Your Property

A deck that connects directly to the back door raises different layout questions from one built above a sloping yard. We talk through where you would step out, how you would move between the deck and yard, and whether the cover, stairs, and railing belong in the same plan. If drawings, permits, or HOA review apply to your address, bring those requirements into the conversation early so the scope is clear.

You can bring photos, rough measurements, or just an explanation of what is not working outside now. We can discuss design options and what the estimate would include before you decide how to move forward.
